Preparation
- Preheat your oven to a hot 475-500°F (245°C).
- On a lightly floured surface, roll out your pizza dough into a 10-12 inch circle.
- Brush the surface of your rolled dough with a drizzle of olive oil and scatter minced garlic over it.
- Evenly distribute fresh mozzarella across the dough.
- Carefully lay thinly sliced lemon rounds atop the mozzarella cheese.
- Sprinkle coarse sea salt, freshly cracked black pepper, and thyme over the pizza.
- Carefully transfer your pizza into the oven and bake for 10-13 minutes.
- Once out of the oven, drizzle olive oil and garnish with parsley, red pepper flakes, or arugula.
- Allow the pizza to cool for a couple of minutes, then slice and serve warm.
