Method
 

Procedure
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and powdered sugar, beating until smooth and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and salt, then mix in the flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Gather the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Dust a clean surface with flour and roll out the dough to about 1/4-inch thickness. Use cookie cutters to create shapes and transfer them to the baking sheet.
  5. Gently press edible flowers into the tops of the cookies and sprinkle granulated sugar over them.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden. Allow cooling on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  7. Once cooled, serve and enjoy at tea parties or as a delightful snack.
