Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Cook the thinly sliced beef or chicken for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  3. Add minced garlic and mixed vegetables; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Scramble the beaten eggs in the skillet, mix with vegetables.
  5. Add day-old jasmine rice; fold in and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  6. Mix in the cooked protein, BBQ sauce, and soy sauce; stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Season with salt and pepper; cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with chopped scallions and sesame seeds before serving.
