Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease your baking dish lightly with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, pour in olive oil and add chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart with a spatula. Stir in taco seasoning, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 5 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Fill slightly warmed taco shells with the meat mixture without overstuffing. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top of each filled shell.
