Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, red wine vinegar, garlic powder, oregano, and salt and pepper until smooth and creamy.
  2. Add shredded iceberg lettuce, sliced red onion, and sliced banana peppers to the dressing and toss gently until coated.
  3. Slice the sub rolls horizontally and layer salami, pepperoni, turkey, and provolone cheese on the bottom half.
  4. Preheat the oven’s broiler for 5 minutes. Place assembled sandwiches on a baking sheet and broil for 2 to 3 minutes until cheese is melted.
  5. Add fresh tomato slices on top of melted cheese and pile on the salad mix.
  6. Sprinkle grated parmesan over the salad mixture, close sandwiches, and cut in half for serving.
