- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients and prepare your baking sheets.
- Spread the peeled and cubed sweet potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet and roast for 45–50 minutes until tender.
- Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven, drain any excess liquid, and mash with the other casserole ingredients until smooth.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish, transfer the sweet potato mixture into it, and level the top.
- In a bowl, combine all streusel ingredients, mix until crumbly, and sprinkle over the sweet potatoes.
- Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
- Cool uncovered for about 15 minutes before serving.
