Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Gather your ingredients and prepare your baking sheets.
  2. Spread the peeled and cubed sweet potatoes on a foil-lined baking sheet and roast for 45–50 minutes until tender.
  3. Remove the sweet potatoes from the oven, drain any excess liquid, and mash with the other casserole ingredients until smooth.
  4. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish, transfer the sweet potato mixture into it, and level the top.
  5. In a bowl, combine all streusel ingredients, mix until crumbly, and sprinkle over the sweet potatoes.
  6. Reduce the oven temperature to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 20–25 minutes until the top is golden brown.
  7. Cool uncovered for about 15 minutes before serving.
