- Rinse fresh cranberries under cold water in a fine-mesh strainer, ensuring they're free from debris.
- In a medium saucepan, combine 1 cup of water and ½ cup of orange juice. Stir in ½ cup of honey or maple syrup and bring to a gentle boil.
