- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef for about 7–10 minutes. Drain excess fat.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet, sautéing for 3–5 minutes until onions are translucent.
- Mix in the diced tomatoes, kidney beans, tomato sauce, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Cook for another 3–5 minutes.
- Add the frozen mixed vegetables and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
