  • 1 pound Lean Ground Beef Can substitute with turkey or chickpeas.
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese Can substitute with Greek yogurt.
For the Cheesy Goodness
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Shredded.
  • 4 slices Cheese Slices Any melting cheese.
For the Finishing Touch
  • 1/2 cup Pasta Water Reserved to adjust sauce consistency.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the macaroni by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil, add macaroni and cook until al dente, about 7–8 minutes. Reserve 125ml of pasta water before draining.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add garlic, onion, and bell peppers. Sauté for 4–5 minutes until softened.
  3. Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned. Season with salt, pepper, paprika, and red chili flakes.
  4. Reduce heat to low, stir in cream cheese, mozzarella, and cheese slices until melted and smooth.
  5. Add the cooked macaroni, folding it into the cheese mixture, stirring in reserved pasta water until desired consistency is achieved.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or extra cheese as desired.
