  3. Scoop portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
  4. Flatten each cookie dough scoop into a disc shape about half an inch thick.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes until golden edges form and centers are just set.
  6. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
