Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mash 2-3 ripe bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth and creamy.
  3. Stir in 1/3 cup of nut butter and 1/4 cup of maple syrup until smooth.
  4. Add 1 1/2 cups of quick oats, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds or flaxseed meal, and any optional add-ins and mix until combined.
  5. Scoop portions of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart, and flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  7. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
