Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Lightly coat the inside of your crockpot with cooking spray.
  2. Place the chicken evenly at the bottom of the crockpot.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, soy sauce, honey or brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger.
  4. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring it is thoroughly coated.
  5. Cover the crockpot and set it to cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the crockpot and shred or slice.
  7. Return shredded chicken to the crockpot and mix well with sauce, then serve.
