- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Gather all your ingredients.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Drain excess fat and let it cool slightly.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sautéed ground beef with uncooked rice, French onion soup, beef consommé, and seasonings. Mix thoroughly.
- Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish and transfer the mixture into it. Spread evenly and slightly pack it down.
- Cover the baking dish tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake uncovered for an additional 30-40 minutes or until the rice is tender and the top is golden brown.
