Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together honey, hoisin sauce, garlic powder, five-spice powder, and lemon juice until well combined. Add the chicken thighs and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Arrange the marinated chicken thighs on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 20–25 minutes until glazed and cooked through.
  4. Switch your oven to broil or preheat a grill to medium-high. Grill the chicken for an additional 2 minutes per side.
  5. Let the chicken rest for a few minutes before garnishing with sesame seeds and chopped green onions. Serve over rice or vegetables.
