Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the Ghirardelli Double Chocolate Brownie Mix, eggs, and oil as indicated on the package. Stir in the Reese’s Peanut Butter Chips until evenly distributed.
- Grease a 13" x 9" baking pan generously with cooking spray or butter. Pour the prepared brownie batter into the pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula. Bake for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs attached.
- Allow the brownie bars to cool in the pan for at least 20 minutes.
- Prepare the Peanut Butter Buttercream Frosting by combining softened butter, creamy peanut butter, powdered sugar, and a splash of milk. Beat until light and fluffy, about 2 to 3 minutes.
- Once the brownies have cooled, generously spread a thick layer of the frosting over the top.
- For an optional chocolate drizzle, melt semi-sweet chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bag, drizzle over the frosted brownies, and allow to set before slicing.

Notes
Allow brownies to cool completely before frosting to prevent melting. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days at room temperature, or refrigerate for up to a week.
