  • 1 cup Whole Milk warm
  • 0.5 cups Unsalted Butter softened
  • 0.5 cups Granulated Sugar adjustable to taste
  • 2 cups Finely Shredded Carrots wring out excess moisture
  • 1 Large Egg room temperature
Filling
  • 0.33 cups Brown Sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon Ground Nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon Ground Cloves
  • Ground Allspice adjust to taste
  • Cornstarch to thicken
  • 0.5 cups Chopped Pecans optional, toasted
Frosting
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese room temperature
  • 0.5 cups Powdered Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Preparation

  4. Allow the dough to rise in a warm place for 10-20 minutes.
  5. Mix filling ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  6. Roll dough into a rectangle, spread filling, and roll tightly.
  7. Cut into 12 pieces and place in a greased dish, allowing for expansion.
  8. Let the rolls proof for about 30 minutes.
  9. Preheat oven to 350°F and bake for 26-30 minutes.
  10. Prepare frosting and spread over warm rolls.
