Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and butter a medium-sized baking dish to prevent sticking.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sautéing for about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in the shredded cabbage and sauté for another 5 minutes until tender.
  4. Pour in 1 cup of heavy cream, 2 tablespoons of Dijon mustard, and a pinch of black pepper. Stir and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
  5. In the prepared baking dish, first spoon in the creamy cabbage mixture, then add the sliced corned beef, and top with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
  6. Bake uncovered in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes until bubbling and golden.
  7. Allow the casserole to rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
