- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease or line a 9x5 inch loaf pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, blend together the mashed ripe bananas with the melted butter until smooth.
- Stir in the granulated sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Sprinkle in the baking soda and salt, then gently fold in the all-purpose flour until just combined.
- In another bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and a bit of flour until smooth and creamy.
- Mix the brown sugar and ground cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Pour half of the banana batter into the prepared loaf pan, then dollop half of the cream cheese mixture and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on top.
- Repeat with the remaining banana batter, cream cheese mixture, and cinnamon-sugar.
- Gently swirl through the layers with a knife for a marbling effect.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
