- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked white rice, shredded chicken, cream of chicken soup, French onion soup, and sour cream. Stir in the shredded cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and 1 cup of French fried onions. Mix gently until blended.
- Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray or butter and evenly spread the rice and chicken mixture into the dish.
- Place in the oven and bake uncovered for about 30 minutes until edges are bubbling and the center is hot.
- Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of French fried onions on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for about 5 minutes and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
