Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. In a bowl, combine Cajun seasoning, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to form a paste.
  2. Generously rub the seasoning mix over the salmon fillets. Allow to marinate for up to 30 minutes.
  3. Cook the salmon by pan-searing, grilling, or baking until it reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  4. In a blender, combine ripe avocados, sour cream (or Greek yogurt), fresh lime juice, cilantro, minced garlic, and salt. Blend until smooth, adding water if necessary.
  5. Serve the cooked salmon over rice, topped with avocado lime crema and garnished with lime wedges and fresh cilantro.
