Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Coat the chicken thighs generously with the marinade and let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the marinated chicken thighs skin side up on the sheet.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes until the skin is crispy and golden brown.
  6. Brush half of your favorite BBQ sauce over the chicken thighs and return to the oven for another 10-15 minutes, until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C).
  7. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
